Below are some of the things that during the course of the three projects I think I did well
Informing Ideas
For informing ideas most of my work would be done in Finding Narrative due to coming up with ideas for my documentary. When coming up with ideas I feel like my best ideas where the first two ideas (Gender & M&Ms). I wasn't too sure on the last one (pokemon) which is why over time it became something different which in my opinion was a lot stronger. Whilst those were more clear cut examples of informing ideas I think that when I was getting my key shots, especially the ones in london. Going to film in london I had all of my scenes planned out and had thought about all of them in detail, so I knew exactly what I wanted.
Problem Solving
During the first 3 projects there where a few problems that I came across but for the most part I feel like I dealt with them well. One problem I had was creating a set of stingers and jingles for my radio show. When first being told to make stingers I had no clue where to even start. When looking at other stingers a lot of them had a small jingle and music that was created for the station, this is what worried me when having to make my jingle. I decided that for my opening jingle I could use music from games and change inbetween them with radio effets for tmy jingle. For my Stingers I used game sound effects alongside glitch sound effects. I think what I made in the end fit the theme of my radio station and i was honeslty really happy with it. I went from starting out with no idea how to even start to making something I was really happy with, I think of all three projects that was the problem I dealt with the best.
Technical Skill
I think that technical skill is where I did the best of my work during the three projects. One specific task that comes to mind was my advertisement for my radio show. When making my advertisement I put a lot of thought into the design of my advertisement, making sure that the design was safe to be seen on screens alongside focusing on the more subtle parts of the design like it's target audience and the thoughts that it implies to people making the colours very friendly. I made two different varients, the second one played more into the humour of my recording. Another project I think my technical skill was shown well in was when I made my music video for the music video project. For the music video project I made two music videos, one video in my own style the way I wanted to edit it and one of them combining the editing styles of everyone in the group, I was happy with both of these edits and I think the group edit shows how well I can adjust my editing style and try out different techniques.
Profesional Practice
I think that most of my profesional practice was shown when I was finding out information about film crews and about narative theory This information was important to know for creating my documentary and I feel like the research was done and presented well with good examples provided. Another example of my profesional practice was creating my proposition for my radio show. In my proposition I spoke about the radio show in detail, giving examples of what we would talk about, what music would play and an example of an episode. I also think that I managed to show some profesional practice when telling my camera crew what to do for my key shots in my doccumentary.
Communication
I think that the most of my communication skills come from the ability to reflect on peoples work including my own. After I looked at some past students work I was able to apply that form of review and thought back into my own work. After all of my work I like to give some of my own thoughts about what I made, here is some of the reflection I think has the most detail and thought put into them: JTC Ident, JTC episodes, JTC logo
